General Notes: 1900 Census Spencer District, Roane Co., WV taken Jun 20, 1900. James age 48 married 23 years farmer owned farm free of mortgage. Margaret age 42 mother of 10 children and 10 living. Simon age 20; Calvin age 18; Berthena age 16; Martin age 14; Ruth age 13; Mary age 11; Millard age 8; Laura age 5 and William age 3.
Only thing missing here in the 1900 Census is James Orland. He was born: 24 Jun 1878 died: 14 Mar 1951 he was married to Chessie M. Weaver (I heard her fathers name was Blackburn Weaver) and or Myrtle Roush am not sure if this is the same person or not. But, all together they had 9 kids. Buford, gerald Lawrence, Helen, Bessie, Bernard, Beulah, Clara, Nora Jane, and Carl James. I am interested in all 9 of these folks but mainly interested in the Gerald Lawrence Boggs
