I have trying to find the parents of Mary Greathouse b. abt 1790 ?? and died after 1816 (possibly Jackson County WV) now for three long years. She married John Parsons 1823 Belmont OH. They moved to Jackson county and are listed in census there. My million dollar question is this.... who the heck are her parents, and where was she born?? Can anyone PLEASE help me?

Hi, I'am looking for my g greatgrandmother, I have found some records but don't know where she is from or parents names. This is what I have: Cora Greathouse b.1884 d. 1966 champaign ohio, married Albert Comer , they had 7 children, James M, AlbertL, Rheba,Nellie,Blanche,Richard M(my grandpa),Clara. I'am new to this and any help I can get, my grandma is still alive but she's not much help , will only tell me parts of things and leaves alot of things out. thank you Susan Comer Murphy

Hi... I am looking for my 2nd great grandmother... I know nothing about her except she was Indian... her son is Everett Greathouse (3/28/1870-4/20/1953)... he was married to nancy evelyn jones (4/7/1875-8/31/1950)... they had 5 children.

Charles who married Vera westfall(sp?)... .John married Hazel Enochs... Massie married Cray(?) Parrill... Le Ota married Harry Allen board... and Ruby Golf Carnes... Le ota's daughters were Jackie Fox (my mom), Ruth Porter, Audra Wilds and son Alvin... as far as I know... they were from calhoun or Roane county, West Virginia... any help appreciated...

Parents of WILLIAM WALTER GREATHOUSE

Looking for the parents of William Walter GREATHOUSE. According to the Pike Co., AL Census of 1860, William was born c. 1822 in GA, died 16 Dec. 1863 in Rogersville, TN. He entered the Civil War on 7 April 1862 at Clay Hill, AL. Co. A, 60th, AL Reg.(One time Co. B Bat. Hillard's Div.). His mother's name is Mary. She was listed in the 1860 Census, also. He married Charlotte Lucinda McLENDON on 30 Dec., 1847 in Crawford Co., GA by R. Hovey. They had eight children. They are in the 1850 Census, Butler Co., AL p. 195. MARY GREATHOUSE is age 50 from GA in the 1850 Census.

Any help, connections, links, etc. will be greatly appreciated.

I am a descendant of Thomas Greathouse and Mary Davis. They had a daughter named Mary V. Greathouse. She married Henry Harris. I'm from this line.

I have more info that I would like to share. I noticed the info for Henry Harris is listed unknown. I have dates of births and deaths and info on where they lived in their last days. I also have info on their decendants. Let me know if I can help. My e-mail address is samozaam4@aol.com

The Michael Greathouse and Rachel Hustead file in the Descendent reports of Greathouse Point Archives contains an Orin, married to Icie Jenkins,in WV. We have ancestors for Orin, but no descendants. Is this your Orin? We would love to know more about his line if it is.
