Does anyone have a Maria E. or Miria E. Greathouse married to Bradley S. Couch? Maria would probably have been born circa 1840-1850. Bradley was born Feb 1 1844 in Friendsville, Wabash Co, IL, died Jun 21, 1930 in Edwards co, IL. He married Maria on Dec 27, 1866 in Wabash Co, IL (marriage listed on IL records web page, vol 401, pg 17). As Maria is not my ancestor, I have not sent to Illinois for their marriage certificate.
I have about 13 Greathouse folks in my database, including a Maria, born estimated 1847, whose parents are John Greathouse born estimated 1822 in IL, and Hester unknown born estimated 1822 in PA, and who has siblings named Sarah, George and Edwin. This Maria's brother, Edwin, born, 1851 was married to Amanda Couch born 1854, a first cousin of Bradley S. Couch. However, I do not know if this Maria is the same as Maria E above.
