Donzel B. Greathouse
4/17/1975

Donzel Brooks Greathouse, 66, of Liverpool, died Monday at his home following a long illness.

Born in Roane County on May 8, 1908, he was the son of Rhoda McPherson and the late Homer Greathouse and was a construction worker and attended the Reedy United Methodist Church.

In addition to his mother, he was survived by four sisters, Mrs. Marie Spencer, Mrs. Florence Weeda, Sue Gilchrist and Mrs. Elah Sommerville, all of Folannsbee; half sister Mrs. Mary Hood also of Folannsbee; four grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Reedy  United Methodist Church with the Rev. Paul Morrison and Rev. Virginia McClanan officiating.

Burial was in the Ellison Cemetery near Reedy.

The Vandale Funeral Home was in charge of the funeral arrangements.

Funeral service were conducted on April 16 for Donzel Brooks Greathouse, 66, of Liverpool, who died April 14 at his home following a long illness.

Born in Roane County on May 8, 1908, he was the son of Rhoda McPherson and the late Homer Greathouse and was a construction worker.

He attended the Reedy United Methodist Church in Reedy.

Surviving in addition to his mother are his widow, Ruby Ellison Greathouse; one son, Donald Lee Greathouse; four sisters, Mrs. Marie Spencer, Mrs. Florence Weeda, Sue Gilchrist and Mrs. Elah Sommerville, all of Follansbee; one half sister, Mrs. Mary Hood, also of Follansbee; four grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Services were conducted at the Reedy United Methodist Church with the Rev. Paul Morrison and the Rev. Virginia McClanan officiating.
