1787, Oct 22 - Land: David Greathouse to Elizabeth Greathouse, Bonds Forrest

David Greathouse to Elizabeth Greathouse

This Indenture made this Twenty second day of October in the year of our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and Eighty seven Between David Greathouse of Baltimore County in the State of Maryland of the one part and Elizabeth Greathouse of the County and State aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that the said David Greathouse for and in Consideration of the sum of fifty pounds Current Money to him in hand paid well and truty paid by the said Elizabeth Greathouse the Amt. whereof he doth acknowledge and himself therewith fully satisfyd paid and contented doth hereby a quit discharge and Exonerate her the said Elizabeth Greathouse her Heirs Execr. Admrs by these present he the said David Greathouse hath given Granted Bargained sold aliened Enfeoffed and Confirmed and by these presents doth give Grant Bargain Allenate Enfeoff and Confirm unto her the said Elizabeth Greathouse her Heirs and assigns forever all that part of a Tract of Land Called Bonds Forrest resurveyed Contained in the following Metes and Bounds Vizt.

Begining at the Begining of the said Bonds Forrest Resurveyed and running

thence North twenty two degrees East sixty five perchers

thence North twenty one degrees East thirty perches

then South Sixty two degrees East Eighteen perches

then South two Degrees and a half West Ninety four perches

then South Eighty two Degrees west Seventy One perches

then South Twenty Eight Degrees west Thirty six perches to the End of ninety two perches

on the South Sixty two Degrees west one Hundred and Twenty perch line of the whole tract

then running with the two following Courses

North Sixty Two degrees West Twenty Eight perches

then North thirty degrees East Seventy two perches to the end of the Original Tract and

then with a straight line to the begining

Containing forty six Acres of Land more or Less Together with all rights profits benefits Priviledges and Appurtenances thereunto Belonging or in anyways appertaining to have and to Hold the said Bargained Land and premises with all and Singular the appertainances thereunto belonging or in Any Ways appertaining Rights Profits Benefits priviledges and every part and parcel thereof unto her the said Elizabeth Greathouse her heirs and assigns for ever to her and their only proper use and Behoof and the aforesaid David Greathouse for himself and his Heirs doth hereby Covenant Grant and Agree to and with the said Elizabeth Greathouse her heirs and assigns Agst him the said David Greathouse and his heirs that shall or may lay every claim right Title or demand thereto from by or under him or them or by their Means or procurement shall and will warrant and forever defend unto her the said Elizabeth Greathouse her Heirs and assigns and further that he the said David Greathouse and his Heirs shall and will Execute any Deed or Instrument of writing that she the said Elizabeth Greathouse or her Heirs or her or their Counsel Secured in the Law shal devise or advise for the Better Aperance and sure making of the said forty six Acres of Land with the Appertenances.

Memerandom that on the 24 day of October 1787 David Greathouse party to the within Deed Came before us two of the Justices of Baltimore County and acknowledged the Land and premises within mentioned to be the right Title and Estate of her the said Elizabeth Greathouse her Heirs and assigns forever Acording to the True Intent and Meaning thereof and agreeable to the act of Assembly in that Case mad and provided before us the Subscribers two of the State Justices for Baltimore County.
