- Hunting with Greathouse and Kenton 1771 - 1774, Bedford County, PA [added footnotes for David Duncan; and Joel Rees with survey and map of Springhill Township, Bedford County, PA between 1771 and 1773. In 1772, Rees improved claim on the site of present-day Parkersburg, WV. Rees on surveying expedition with Jacob Greathouse, William Grills and the Mahons when they met Kenton near Point Pleasant, WV, in Mar 1773]
- Greathouse of Lee Creek 1785, Harrison County, VA [added excerpt of letter from Joseph Wood to Samuel Prescott Hildreth, regarding a Greathouse who landed at Belleville, Harrison County, VA about 1791]

moved from Bavaria to Italy, where he chose to use an Italian
variation of the Grothaus surname, Casagranda. The participant's Y-DNA
