Greathouse or associated ancestor records found in the county:

1780 - Military Discharge: John Greathouse was discharged from service in Captain Kilgore's Company of the 8th Pennsylvania Regiment of Regulars, commanded by Colonel Daniel Broadhead, at Fort Pitt, Washington County, PA [present day Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, PA] after three years of service in the Revolutionary War. He was taxed as a single freemen in Turkeyfoot Township, Bedford County, PA in 1783 and 1785. By 1787, he was taxed as a resident of Harrison County, VA.
