1773 - Land: Robert Harkness settled along the Sandy Creek Glades in 1773

April 14th 1780 Robert Harkness heir at law to John Harkness dec'd proved a Cert from the Commr of Monongalia Yohogania and Ohio for 400 acres of land on the Sandy Creek Glades to include his settlement made in 1773 dated 19th Feby.

1774 - Land: Robert Harkness settled along the Cheat River in 1774

Robert Harkness heir at law of Jno. Harkness proved a Cert. from the Commr of Monongalia Yohogania and Ohio for 400 acres of land on Cheat River to include his Settlement made in 1774 also a right in pre_m_tion of 1000 acres with Cr. agreeable to Act of Assembly Date 19th Feb.
