1) Daniel McCarty, who was named as a [married] resident freeholder on the tax list of Turkeyfoot Township, Bedford County, PA, for 1783, appears to have married Anna Amelia Greathouse circa 1783.

2) If Anna Amelia Greathouse was age 21 at the time of her marriage, then she would have been born about 1762, in Roxborough, Philadelphia County, PA.

3) Her father and mother, William and Barbara Schuetz Greathouse released Barbara's 1/3 share of her father, Carl Valentine Michael Schuetz's farm, which was located in Germantown, Philadelphia County, PA, to her brother, Jacob Shuetz in 1762.
